“Find what you love about it, and stick to that.”

This isn’t going to be your typical DJ bio. No tall tales and big achievements in some attempt to make me look like a superstar headliner type of DJ.

Greetings, my name is D-Jam, and I’ve been on the decks in some way, shape, or form for over 30 years, playing everywhere from my bedroom to large events.

I’ve wanted to play ever since I was ten years old in the early 1980s, and much of America bore witness to the explosion of hip-hop and other dance music. I feel blessed to have lived through the growth of house music, and the evolution of club and rave culture from small dank venues into these massive festivals attended every year. When you look back on things in their entirety, it’s amazing how far everything has come.

My life as a DJ had its shares of thrills and disappointments, but through all of it, I never fell out of love with spinning music. I had to learn some hard life lessons to realize that with anything creative, it’s best to find what you love about it, and stick to that.

So that’s why I rebuilt my website, and am attempting to post a new mix every month. I just love doing it, and I invite you all to check out my monthly mixes for your own enlightenment and enjoyment.

I have a deep love for many flavors of house music, and the energy of trance music. Hopefully there’s something that will appeal to you.
